Oktoberfest München

When I ask people what they know about Germany, they almost always mention “beer” and “Oktoberfest”. What many might not know is that if you live and work in Munich, your company most probably will invite you and your colleagues during the festival. I am not a great fan, but I guess it is safe to say that 2 Maß of beer (like 2 x approx. 1 litre) and one Hendl (grilled chicken) is the standard menu your employer will buy you. Of course, with the drinking, you often get to know your colleagues like you have never seen them before. Next morning is moaning, but then it’s back to normal and business as usual. Why did I come up with this topic today – well, yesterday I got an invitation to participate in booking a table. Yup, that you need to do quite in advance. And, I just did a word count. I mentioned “Oktoberfest” three times in my last book about doing business with Germans https://www.amazon.com/Doing-Business-Germany-Understanding-Practices/dp/1948198843/ One more reason to try grab ab copy. Cheers!
