“The first person you meet when you go abroad is yourself.”
This saying very much reminds me of my experience when I first went to India in 2001. Lucky me, back then working for an international publishing house, I had access to a vast library of books on international management. Reading very much helped me understand why at times I was feeling lost and frustrated. Also, one of my professors had “warned” me that I would most probably experience (and overcome) what he called “culture shock.”
If you have just moved to Germany, or sometimes struggle and feel confused or disoriented, maybe I can help. I usually only work B2B, but recently realized how much expats (to Germany) can benefit from opening their hearts during two or three coaching sessions.
